Assessing Learner Performance

Purpose:  To determine if student’s are comprehending and what level they are comprehending on.

Learning Outcome:  Students will demonstrate comprehension by answering a series of true/false questions about “John Henry, The Legend of the Steel Driving Man” read aloud by the teacher.  Then they will work together in groups of 5 and come up with a short 2 minute skit to rewrite the ending of the story and performs it for the class. 

Answer each question.  Check T for true or F for false.  For each false answer rewrite the statement correcting the false information and making it true in the space provided.
